Some photos from the trip. My favorite is the top one. Guinnes was cold so I lent him my sleeping bag.
Things here are still a bit tense, but lessening so every day. Last weekend Guinness and I took the opportunity to get out into the mountains for a "guy's weekend" with a few friends in Bishkek.
We camped by a cold mountain stream (river) and had a wonderful time despite the off and on mountain rain sessions. Guinness had a blast and could not move for three days after he got home.
